View the list of Penal Code sections that need to be typed in Sinhala. Each card shows the section number, English source text, and chapter.
Lock a Section
Click 'Start Typing' to exclusively lock a section for 24 hours. Only you can work on it during this time — no one else can take it.
Type the Sinhala Content
Use the side-by-side workspace to type the Sinhala translation/content. You can add illustrations and explanations too. The live word counter updates as you type.
Submit for Review
When done, click 'Submit for Review'. Our admin team will check the quality of your typing within a few days.
Get Paid
Once approved, your wallet is automatically credited: word count × price per word (current rate set by admin). View your balance in the Earnings tab.
Frequently Asked Questions
The rate per valid Sinhala word is set by the admin and may change over time. Past approved jobs are always paid at the rate that was active at the time of approval — your historical earnings are never affected by future price changes.
A valid word is any token that contains at least one letter character. Punctuation (.,;:!?), empty lines, and whitespace are stripped before counting — only real words count.
Your section will be marked 'Revision Requested'. You can go to Job History and click 'Continue' to re-open it and retype the content. You have another 24 hours from the rejection.
No. Once you lock a section, it is exclusively reserved for you for 24 hours. If you don't submit within 24 hours, it automatically becomes available again for others.
